Q2. Does Stallion Africarsbuy and sell all makes and models of pre-owned cars?
Yes, we have started with Hyundai but shortly we will be buying and selling passenger cars of all makes and models.
Q3. Where does Stallion Africarsget its stock?
We buy cars through part exchanges, showroom trade-ins & corporate fleet customers who have serviced their cars with us & have a service history
Q4. Is the deposit paid to book a car refundable?
If you change your mind, you can transfer your deposit to another car from Stallion Africarswithin 10 days from the date of when the deposit was originally paid. We regret that any deposits paid cannot be refunded as we hold the car for you & remove it from display.
Q5. Does Stallion Africarsoffer finance?
Through our partner banks, we are exploring finance options to offer Customers a choice of hassle free finance solutions for our pre-owned cars, Normal terms and conditions will apply.
Q6. What is an accident car?
By definition, the term ‘accident car’ means a car which has been involved in an accident and has major structural damage to its chassis or main frame, which may or may not have been repaired. Stallion Africarsdoes not retail any accident cars.
Q7. Do you partially or completely repaint cars before putting them up for sale?
We inspect each car inside and out so that we can understand what, if any, work is required to bring the car up to showroom standard. We have trained our associates to repair any bodywork scratches or damage and if necessary, we completely repaint the car at our state-of-the-art paint booths.
Q8. If a car is repainted, does it mean it has been in an accident?
We aim to provide you with a car that is as good as new, and so sometimes we may need to repaint a car to correct small dents, scratches or minor body damage. However a repainted car does not mean the car has been in an accident.
Q9. Do I get new tires with the car?
Not necessarily. Tires are replaced if the tire is more than three years old or if the tread depth is less than 3.0mm for sedan cars and 4.5mm for SUVs or 4X4. If any sidewall cracks, bulges or abnormal tread wear is identified, the tires are also replaced.
Q10. Do I get new brake pads and brake discs with the car?
Brake pads and discs are replaced if the thickness is below the minimum measurement specified by the manufacturer.
Q11. What does the Stallion Africarsservice check cover?
As well as carrying out a routine service, we also conduct a comprehensive check of the entire car so that every customer has complete peace of mind when purchasing from us. We ensure that all functions are operational and in good working order.
Q12. Does Stallion Africarsprovide service history with all the cars it sells?
We will share all the information about the car as provided by the previous owner. On request, we can also provide the results of our own 99 Point Check and details of any jobs done during the reconditioning process.
Q13. Do I get warranty on any car from Stallion Africars?
All cars are covered by a 12 month or 15,000 kilometers warranty (whichever comes first) on Engine & Transmission only from the date of delivery. Alternatively, if the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty is higher, this is transferred to the new owner.
Q14. What does the warranty cover?
Stallion Africars warranty guarantees free of charge replacement or repair of any part that is found defective in material or workmanship under normal use. This excludes normal wear and tear parts & Electrical items.
Q15. Is Stallion Africars warranty transferable if I decide to sell the car?
The warranty is between Stallion Africarsand yourself. If the car is sold, the warranty is not transferrable and therefore becomes invalid.
Q16. Can I use the nationwide network of Stallion Workshops for my service?
Yes, you can take advantage of the Stallion group’s nationwide Service Centers for all your servicing requirements
